Howdy!

Did I go to Journalism school to only end up writing Tweets with 280 characters? Yep.

Life is funny that way. I’m a native San Diego-an who loves aimlessly scrolling on Twitter (and TikTok), snowboarding and playing The Sims.

For the past eight years, I’ve worked in the wild world of sports entertainment. This career has taken me from my alma mater at the University of Kansas to Fayetteville, Arkansas where I worked in communications with the Arkansas Razorbacks football team. I left the Ozarks for the Rocky Mountains to fulfill a dream of working in the NFL only to end up winning a Super Bowl ring with the Denver Broncos. Go figure! From Denver to Cleveland, Ohio where I led social media strategy and witty-ish social posts for the Cleveland Browns. Now, I’m back in my hometown of San Diego, California where I’m helping craft social messages helping people from around the world.

In my role with GoFundMe, I wear many hats. I manage, post and curate organic social media content for our platforms. On top of that, I work closely with our creative, product and communications teams to help launch collaborative data-driven campaigns. From influencer marketing to helping internal and external departments hit their KPIs — I’ve done it all.
